Since training Jessica has worked for over a decade in a variety of psychological settings in both the public and private sectors. Jessica is passionate about helping adults and adolescents with a wide range of difficulties, especially those struggling with addictions, PTSD, emotion problems, anxiety related disorders (including generalised, panic, and social concerns) depression, anger management and also the survivors of childhood trauma.
It is important to Jessica that her treatment approach is carefully tailored to the needs of each individual client. To achieve this she works from an evidence-based approach using treatments such as cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, mindfulness self compassion therapy, narrative therapy and schema therapy. Jessica is especially interested in working with those affected by drugs & alcohol. For these patients she has provided extensive individual and group-based treatments. Jessica continues to remain passionate about her work in this area and is available for appointments on Saturdays.
